A building permit must be obtained prior to the start of any construction.
Please call and make an appointment a few days prior to applying for any permit from the Winnipeg River Planning District.
Building Permits are required for construction, placement, renovation, demolition, relocation, or addition to any building regardless of size (this includes replacement of decks!). Rules and regulations regarding building are dependent upon the zoning of the area. To establish your zone, contact the office by phone or email (above). Permits and applications are available through the office or by download from this site (below).
Board Meetings for the Winnipeg River Planning District are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Rural Municipality of Alexander, St. Georges Manitoba
